“Grace Across the Divide” - 10am Traditional Eucharist

This sermon teaches that Christians are called to remain in loving relationship with people they deeply disagree with, continually extending the same welcome, forgiveness, and grace that God has first given to them. Drawing from Romans 14, it emphasizes that spiritual maturity is demonstrated not by winning disagreements or judging another believer’s convictions, but by respecting one another’s conscience before God and remembering that each person ultimately belongs to and is accountable to the Lord. Ultimately, the sermon calls believers to surrender judgment to God and follow Jesus’ example by building relationships across differences so that they can become instruments of His grace, love, peace, and reconciling power in the world.
