Traditional Service

Join us for intergenerational worship that blends tradition and energy. This service includes hymns, choir anthems, praise songs, instrumental music, and participation from our children’s and adult choirs, praise band, and organ. Children are invited to a special, age-appropriate sermon before joining their families for Holy Communion.

The River Service

Our 11 a.m. service mirrors the 8:45 offering with rich music, scripture-based preaching, Holy Communion, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Children enjoy a special sermon just for them, followed by worship with their families.

The River is our contemporary worship service that welcomes all ages into a relaxed and Spirit-filled environment. Enjoy modern worship music, biblical preaching, prayers for the community, and Holy Communion. Children begin with their own chapel time and join the congregation for communion, making this a meaningful experience for the whole family.

Can’t make it in person? You can still worship with us from wherever you are. Our online services are designed to keep you connected to God and to our church family, no matter the distance. Join us virtually for the 11:00 a.m. Traditional Service or the 5:00 p.m. River Service.

What are the differences between Sunday services?

Our 7:30 a.m. Tradition Communion service offers traditional music led by the organ. This service takes place in the chapel and lasts about an hour.

Our 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. Traditional Communion services offer traditional music led by the organ and choir. On the third Sunday of the month, the service offers contemporary music. This service takes place in the church and lasts about an hour.

Our 5 p.m. Contemporary Communion service, The River, is informal (casual attire) and offers contemporary music. This service takes place in the church and lasts about 45 minutes.

What should I wear?

During the Sunday morning services, dress tends towards business or business-casual attire, with many men wearing jackets with or without a tie. The afternoon service, at 5 p.m. is casual. Whatever your preference, we hope to see you on a Sunday and welcome you in whatever you choose to wear!

Where should I sit?

Please sit wherever you are comfortable. The ushers are happy to help you with any special needs or seating requirements you may have, including wheelchairs and devices for the hearing impaired.

What can I expect?

We understand that some prefer to remain inconspicuous when they visit a church for the first time, and we will not ask you to stand or otherwise make yourself known. We do hope you’ll introduce yourself to one of the clergy in the receiving line after the service, and we truly hope that you feel welcome! There are visitor cards in each of the pews – if you complete one of those, someone will be in touch with you very soon after. We hope to see you!

Is there a nursery?

How long are the services?

Typically, Sunday worship takes about an hour for the 7:30 a.m. service in the chapel, as well as the 8:45 and 10 a.m. services in the church. Our 5 p.m. contemporary service, The River, is in the church and lasts about 45 minutes.

What if I am not an Episcopalian?

That’s ok! All are welcome and encouraged to participate. You can follow the service in the service leaflet, which usually contains everything you need. Or if you prefer, you can also use the Book of Common Prayer (BCP), which is located in our pews.

May I receive Communion?

All baptized Christians—no matter age or denomination—are welcome to participate in Holy Communion. Visitors who are not baptized Christians are welcome to come forward during the Communion to receive a blessing. We offer gluten free wafers as needed.

Is there a class for newcomers?

The ABCs is a space for all your questions: What’s a narthex? Why do we cross ourselves? What’s a Feast Day? In what sense is the Bible the Word of God? Whether you’re new to The Episcopal Church or a cradle Episcopalian, join us on a fun and informative journey through the basics of Anglican faith and spiritual life. No preparation required.
