Located in historic Ortega, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is a neighborhood parish blessed with a large and beautiful campus canopied by oak trees within eyesight of the St. Johns River. Since our beginnings in 1922, we’ve grown to more than 1,500 members with a vision “to be a vibrant and thriving parish where Christ’s loving Spirit radiates to all generations in our community.”
As one of the larger churches in the Diocese of Florida, St. Mark’s offers Gospel-centered preaching with both traditional and contemporary worship grounded in the Book of Common Prayer. By the grace of God, we continue to have a healthy balance of long-time generational members combined with those who are new to the Jacksonville community. We hope you’ll join us.
