When a disciple says, Lord, teach us to pray, Jesus answers with a pattern, a parable, and a promise. The sermon walks through the Lord's Prayer as God-centered prayer, then turns to the neighbor knocking at midnight and to a dog named Roxy who wakes the household at 4 a.m. Its claim is simple: God is a good Father who delights to give the Holy Spirit to those who ask.
